Where could AI save you time at work, and is it allowed?

Pick your role and the tasks you actually do. The Navigator ranks them by the time AI could save you, shows exactly how to do each one in the tool you already have, and tells you plainly which need sign-off first.

Your tasks, ranked

Built from the official UK occupation list: 51 roles and 442 recurring tasks to start, from minutes and enquiry replies to monthly reports and lesson plans. Each shows the time it could save and how quickly it pays back.

Step by step, in your tool

Not a one-off prompt. Try it once, make it yours with your own style profile, save it as a reusable assistant in Copilot, Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT, then build it into how the work arrives. Every playbook has a check step: you stay in charge.

Green, amber or red

Most tasks are green. Amber means agree it with your manager first, usually because of personal data. Red means the law draws a line, such as UK GDPR or the EU AI Act, and you get a one-page case for your governance lead instead of a how-to.

Every playbook goes four levels deep

  1. Try it once. Exactly what to gather and what to leave out, a prompt to fill in, a worked example and what to watch for.
  2. Make it yours. Tailor the prompt and build a style profile you reuse.
  3. Set it up to reuse. Save it as an assistant in your own tool, tested on past examples before you rely on it.
  4. Build it into the work. Connect it to your inbox or meetings, with drafts for you to check, never sent on its own.

Levels 1 and 2 will be free. Levels 3 and 4 will be part of paid plans for individuals, teams and organisations.
